Let’s Talk Inclusive Mindset & Literacy Supports

Session 1 focuses on developing an inclusive mindset, changing our educational vocabulary to reflect our inclusive mindset, and adopting the use of inclusive strategies in our work with both learners and educators. 

Focusing on the CITES Framework areas of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment the group will experience inclusive technology strategies, applications, and resources in reading and writing.

Let’s Talk Research, Studying, Executive Function, & Social-Emotional Learning

Part of creating a culture of inclusive learning acknowledges there are obstacles to implementation. Session 2 will examine strategies for overcoming real and perceived barriers to inclusive education practices and strategies for creating an inclusive mindset for all stakeholders.

Focusing on the CITES Framework areas of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment the group will experience inclusive technology strategies, applications, and resources in the areas of Research and Studying; Executive Function, and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

Let’s Talk Cross Content Areas & Professional Learning

Finally, let’s reflect on your inclusive learning successes. In session 3 will provide time to share and reflect on real-life examples. The presenters facilitated a discussion with reflective questions that participants answered using a digital tool to share their ideas with the larger group. 

Focusing on the CITES Framework areas of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment the group will experience inclusive technology strategies, applications, and resources in Cross Content and Professional Learning.
