Families play a vital role in the successful implementation of inclusive technology initiatives. But how can AT professionals effectively incorporate families in the process? This asynchronous session will explore factors that may impact family participation in their child’s technology use in education, discuss what we have learned about meaningful family engagement and the importance of partnership between families and school during the pandemic that can be carried forward productively, and highlight resources to increase family engagement and technology planning in your district.
