Description
This session will discuss taking a proactive approach to broadening skills for teaching with technology and how educators can more effectively offer explicit instruction and support to help students identify and remove barriers to learning with technology. We will highlight the CITES Framework best practices in the area of teaching, which are: 1) Develop technology competencies, including how to use accessible and assistive technology to support student progress toward learning goals, 2) Use technology to support student-centered learning for all students, including students with disabilities, and 3) Take responsibility for developing or enhancing the technology skills needed to support instruction for all students.
