Description

Let's chat about inclusive pedagogy with technology! Building teacher clarity regarding teaching with technology offers the opportunity to considerably accelerate and improve teaching and learning. By positioning accessible materials and technologies as part of teaching and learning practices, leaders can retool and reimagine the way learners and educators are supported inside (and outside) the four walls of the classroom. Our team at CITES, the Center on Inclusive Technology & Education Systems, at CAST is funded by the Office of Special Education Programs at the US Department of Education. We have been tasked to ensure building- and district-leaders have the strategies to support educators in removing barriers to learning through the use of technology. The CITES framework offers district leaders evidence-based practices and implementation strategies to build inclusive digital learning environments. This session will introduce the Teaching Practices section of the CITES Framework. Let's explore the framework together!
