Description
Check out and ask questions about inclusive practices in virtual learning programs that support students with disabilities. Learn how accessible and assistive technologies are deployed and implemented to personalized learning, for students with and without IEPs (Individualized Education Plan) or 504 Plans. Participants will have the opportunity to review new resources and engage in a dialogue regarding inclusive leadership and implementation practices for virtual settings including full time and part time virtual schools. Review examples of digital accessibility tools and learn how teachers and families collaborate to implement such tools effectively. Hear directly from North Carolina Virtual Public School (NCVPS) on how inclusive practices, including ensuring quality online course content have been developed and implemented effectively including professional learning to support educators.
