Description

Let us explore strategies to drive change to create coordinated, inclusive technology systems. Delve into practical, leadership planning and implementation tools and resources developed with partner districts from across the country to benefit all students, including those with disabilities. The Center on Inclusive Technology & Education Systems (CITES) supports creating and sustaining an inclusive technology ecosystem, where assistive technology (AT), educational technology (EdTech), and informational technology (IT) work collaboratively to develop and sustain inclusive infrastructure, teaching and learning practices. Tools and resources will be highlighted to elevate and promote inclusive technology systems. Leadership tips will be shared by district technology directors including a self-assessment so that participants can reflect on their current system’s strategic goals, consider steps to drive seamless inclusive practices and work to implement them immediately. Audience participation will be included throughout the session.
