Through gameplay, attendees will deepen their understanding of inclusive technology principles, exploring topics such as accessibility, assistive technology, and universal design for learning. By fostering collaboration and critical thinking, "Cards for HumanIT" encourages educators to reflect on their practices and embrace innovative strategies to create inclusive learning environments.

  • Participants will identify at least 5 myths and facts about assistive technology and how it applies to their roles.
  • Participants will identify the difference between inclusive, accessible and assistive technology and how it applies to students in their classrooms.
  • Participants will know where to locate the Assistive Technology myths and facts resources on the CITES website for their use.
